The 81st Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade

DECEMBER 8, 2007 --

This year's warm, sunny weather made up for last year's rain, and hundreds of thousands of people lined the sidewalks of New York, from 77th Street and Central Park West to Herald Square to watch the parade, including bands and balloons and floats pass by.  

Here are glimpses of the enthusiastic crowds, and some of the balloons that are the distinctive feature of the parade.
