Memo to Private Citizen Donald J. Trump
From David R. Zukerman, prop., Lonely Pamphleteer Review

February 5, 2021 --

Don't appear in the bizarre Senate trial of a private citizen.

How about this?  Go to the Supreme Court of the United States and ask for a declaratory judgment and injunction, barring the Senate trial as unconstitutional because the Constitution does not call for an impeachment trial of a  private citizen, which, if held, would  amount to seeking a bill of attainder against you, also unconstitutional.

Plus, get the high court also to declare that censure of a president or former president is not mentioned in the
Constitution, and, anyway, if enacted, would also be a forbidden bill of attainder.

The opinion granting your motion should  be written by Chief Justice Roberts, if it is not simply issued per curiam.

Isn't it the responsibility of the Supreme Court to keep the legislature within constitutional bounds?
