A "Never -Trumper" is generally regarded as a Republican who is opposed to the very idea of Donald J. Trump as president of the United States. Mona Charen has been a Never Trumper since 2016, when she mafe it clear that she loathed Mr. Trump. Writing in Politico July 7, Ms. Charen told Democrats, via Politico, that they can win her over by proposing legislation "in the constitutional way. No sweeping, federalism-smashing plans to overhaul everything in the name of your preferred policies."

She told Democrats that their House victory in 2018 was "not a left-wing triumph," but was gained by attracting "Republicans and independents who voted Democrat. In other words: Voters like me."

But this admission is puzzling for the indication that Ms. Charen, in 2018, voted for a Democrat candidate for a House seat.

If she were indeed a conservative and a Republican, why would Ms. Charen vote for a Democrat candidate to the House of Representatives? There is a political acronym to describe Ms. Charen -- RINO. (Republican in name only.) LPR prediction: If the president is re-elected, the Never-Trumpers will drop the pretense and declare that they are joining the Democrat party.
