Morality in Government

MARCH 28, 2007 --

Al Gore, if LPR heard right, recently suggested that accepting the argument of global warming is now a moral imperative.

How far we have traveled from the time when it was accepted that "you can't legislate morality."

LPR wonders if we are doing anything BUT legislating morality, these days. Under a Gore presidency, would people who do not accept global warming alarms be charged with obstruction of justice (as morality) and sent away for morality training?

LPR has heard that the former vice president would accept payment program in lieu of following global warming scripture. Kind of like how, in the Civil
War, people paid others to be drafted in their place?
