NOVEMBER 20, 2005 --

LPR Congratulates Tony Stewart 2005 Nascar Nextel Cup Champion --and Greg Biffle, whose close win over teammate Mark Martin in Homestad, made him Nextel runner-up. Along with the
championship cup, Tony Stewart got a check for some $5.8 million.

Midtown Manhattan will be the venue, November 30, of a 1.75 mile Victory lap in honoring the top ten drivers in the 2005 competition for the Nextel Nascar Cup.

The lap begins at Rockefeller Center, at 9.30 a.m., heads west on 49th Street to Seventh Avenue and then down Broadway to 42nd Street, then east to Madison Avenue and up Madison to 46th Street, ending at 375 Park Avenue (where NASCAR has its New York office).

NASCAR claims 75 million fans and those in Manhattan, November 3e0 can view the Victory lap at four locations: 49th Street, between 6th and 7th Avenues; Seventh Avenue between 46th and 47th streets
(west side of the street), 42nd Street, between 5th and 6th avenues; and Park
Avenue, between 47th and 48th streets (east side of the streets).

LPR wonders how soon until NASCAR will hold races in New York City. The old Floyd Bennet Field near the Marine Parkway Bridge as one possible venue -- off the Belt Parkway and not far from
JFK airport, perhaps?
