November in NYC

NOVEMBER 7, 2004 --

There are two great public events in New York City every November: The New York City Marathon --now with ING attached to
the event, and Macy's Thanksgiving Day parade.

LPR watched the marathon on 138th Street in The Bronx (the only borough attached to the mainland).

Please see, in this LPR, photos of the lead runners as they left The Bronx for the finish line in Central Park, a bit more than five miles from this point, and two other photos, including one showing part of the throng of some 35,000 runners on November 7.

Next week, LPR plans to post more marathon photos.
