Lead editorial, October 15: "The Grown-Ups Take the Stage"

Opening sentence: " It was impossible not to feel a sense of relief watching the Democatic debate after months dominated by the Republican circus of haters, ranters, and that very special group of king killers in Congress."
There followed six paragraphs of editorial high-fiving for the Democratics (LPR has decided to refer to members of the Democratic Party as Democratics) leading to the final pararaph and its
concluding sentence: "The Republican candidates may have a lot of fun campaigning for office, but they haven't a prayer of knowing what to do if they ever enter the White House." (LPR believes The New York Times would object vigorously and viciously if a Republican candidate admitted to praying for knowledge to be president.)
