LPR heartily recommends "Naked City" for a view of NYC when men wore hats, people readily offered cigarets to others, and made calls by pay phones and rotary phones. Especially poignant, the programs that were filmed in Pennsylvania Stations.

And see episodes where  Peter Falk of "Colombo" fame played bad guys, Telly Savalas, later known as "Kojak" , also played a villain.  And see Robert Redford as a neo-Nazi.
