The media has been giving us some harsh comment about Donald J. Trump – when it doesn’t simply give us wishful thinking about problems in the Trump campaign. For example, a May 22 New York Times story on donor aversion to Trump included this description of Trump from a Michael K. Vlock: “’He’s an ignorant, amoral, dishonest and manipulative, misogynistic, philandering, hyper-litigious, isolationist, protectionist blowhard’”. Mr. Vlock was identified as “a Connecticut investor” who, since 2014, has given $5 million to Republicans. The Times did not inform readers that Mr. Vlock is married to Karen Plitzker who is a cousin of Penny Plitzker, our current commerce secretary. (The branches of f the Plitzker family are fabulously wealthy.)

On Fox News Sunday, May 29, National Journal’s Ron Fournier said this of Donald J. Trump (quoting the online transcript of the program): “When you have a playground bully, a bully in the playground, you punch him in the mouth. And you punched [cq] him in the mouth and you punch him in the mouth.” To LPR, this reads as rather intense rage.
