APRIL
24, 2007 --
Yahoo carried an AP story, April 21, about
a three million dollar credit card fraud.
This obviously was not about the credit card usury -- which must bring in far
more than $3 million.

New York's senior U.
S. Sen. Charles E. Schumer (among others) is, of course, too occupied forcing
Attorney General Gonzales out, to notice those extortionate interest rates
that 1.) are windfall to the credit card companies, 2.) make it much harder
to get out of credit card debt and 3.) draw spending from other sectors
of the economy -- probably not to the common good. |
