NOVEMBER
1, 2006 --
With
November, New York gets the marathon (now the ING New York City Marathon)
at the beginning of the month, and Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade,
at the end of the month.
Usually the Tuesday after the marathon,
New York also gets election day, but enough of politics.
At this point, one can only pray that in NYC, as of November 7th, one will
not be charged with "Voting while conservative -- or populist."
For the Thanksgiving Day parade, whether weather (sorry) is rain, snow, freezing
or pleasant, LPR would not object if clicksters gathered on the west-side of
Central Park West, at 72nd Street and raised handmade "LPR' signs during
this one and a half hour traditional event.
(And don't forget balloon inflation the day before, on both sides of the American
Museum of Natural History.)

The
annual Macy's Thanksgiving Day Parade will be here soon!

captured this photo of Fifth Avenue (with the Empire State
Building in the distance) whiche shows the New York Marathon
route on Fifth Avenue below 120th Street.

LPR
wonders if the Spitzer N.Y. gubernatorial campaign has been
getting summonses for putting political placards on public
property.
