Gas Prices …

This photo show the December 18 price of regular gas at the Mobil station in Torrington, near the southbound entrance to Route 8. Prices noticed by LPR at other gas stations in Torrington were higher by three to ten cents a gallon (regular) -- still considerably lower than NYC prices)

At least one gas station in Torrington was selling regular at $1.65 a gallon. LPR filled up at the Mobil station, and paid about $37 less for a 16 gallon fill-up that when the price was at $4. Are continued gas hikes, pennies at a time, significant? They sure are, and it doesn't matter to the motorist's wallet if the hikes are by the oil companies, or by federal, state, or local governments in the form of additional gas tax. And so: LPR says to oil companies and government authorities, "For the economic well-being of the country, don't hike gas prices again.

Next LPR …

More Macy's Parade photos -- and the LPR plan for Aggrandizers Anonymous where money addicts will have a place to declare: "My name is… and I am an aggrandizer, addicted to unlimited wealth regardless of the harm it may cause me, my family and my country."
