A New Fund-Raising Suggestion for NYC …

New York City's Parking Violations Bureau brings in a ton of money to the city's treasury.   Think how much more money City Hall will receive after setting up a Masking Violations Bureau.

Attention Should Be Paid …

...to the fact that when Antifa is upset about the course of public policy, it takes to the streets, while when conservatives are upset at the direction of policy, they take to the courts -- and then get accused by the left of treason.

What's In A Name?

LPR is convinced the only reason Adam Schiff ever got to Congress was because many of his LA. voters thought they were voting for the late Steven Hill, the marvelous actor who played Manhattan D.A. "Adam Schiff," on "Law and Order."  My goodness, you don't suppose Dick Wolf, the program's creator and producer, named his fictional district attorney as a way to advance the L.A. Schiff's political career?

It Better Not Be So …

LPR thought it saw mention on the internet of Lois Lerner as Biden's choice to head the I.R.S.   You will remember her as the IRS functionary in Obama days who acknowledged that the service gave Tea Party groups a difficult time when they requested tax waivers.  As a consequence of the I.R.S. difficulties visited on the Tea Party, they ceased to be a significant factor in the 2012 elections, LPR believes.  It will not be surprising if, under Biden, the I.R.S. is again weaponized against conservatives -- as the FBI was weaponized against the Trump 2016 campaign, and thereafter.  The left tends to use government to harass its political adversaries, while raising hue and cry that harassment comes from the right.

On Political Cleansing …

LPR has learned, via the internet, that Biden plans to do a thorough cleaning overhaul of the White House when he moves in, including a carpet change. The impression the story gives, is that Biden will fumigate the structure's 55,000 square feet.  For LPR it would be enough if Biden just washed the foul mouths of his Trump-haters in  Congress and the deep state with soap. As for the Trump-haters in the media, a bleaching of their computers should do.

How Low Can the Never Trump Media Can Go?

At least as low as Peggy Noonan, columnist for The Wall Street Journal, who (week-end of December 5-6) accused Trump people of McCarthyism, if they complained that the Democrats rigged the 2020 presidential election.   Now, it wouldn't be a bad thing if Noonan were referring to Kevin McCarthy, House GOP leader.    BUT SHE WAS VICIOUSLY REFERRING TO JOE McCARTHY, who recklessly accused people of being communists (while some of his targets were communists).   Today's   (Joe) Mc Carthyites are, of course, on the left.

This Might Have Had Something to Do With the Texas Lawsuit Asking to Supreme Court to Call the Democrats Offsides in the Election …

The following is copied from an article on the internet.  "It is the hope of the Trump campaign and President Trump's lawyers the House will reject the 62 electoral college votes from those four pivotal states."    If the justices saw this item, they might well have decided, "Why should we handle this, if the House of Representatives can take it up? Besides, aren't we supposed to stay out of the 'political thicket'?"

Happy Chanukah

The eight-day festival of Chanukah, the feast of lights, arrives at sundown, December 10.  May each candle lighted every night bring illumination and glad tidings, particularly as we proceed through a difficult presidential transition period to the January 20, 2021 inauguration of the next President of the United States.

The insufferably arrogant David Brooks, Gaslsighter …

In another of his columns aimed at disparaging Trump voters, Badboy Brooks quotes a Cass Sunstein comment that projects his own invidious projection. Sunstein was quoted to accuse Republicans of projecting their negative political mindset onto the left, when it is the left , certainly, that projects its own invidious mindset onto honest conservatives.  For example, what was Russi-gate but a hoax, a Big Lie repeated incessantly by the left?  LPR recently learned of a new term to describe the process: gaslighting.   Let it be known: the party of gaslighting is the Democrat Party.  And gaslighting is the practice of Brooks and his New York Pravda colleagues.

A State Senator to Be Proud Of …

Thanks to Breitbart, LPR heard the closing remarks of Pennsylvania State Senator Doug Mastriano at the Gettysburg hearing, before Thanksgiving, on the allegation of fraud in the Keystone Starte;s presidential election.  Sen. Mastriano's comments were masterful, and given in comprehensive detail.  All Republlcan members in the House and Senate should study these remarks as guide to aggressively fair comment by which to stand tall against leftist propaganda and bullying.  LPR learned subsequently that Twitter censored Sen,Mastriano -- and what better evidence to indicate that struck home, dealing their targets a staggering polemical blow.

LPR Wishes Joe Biden a Speedy Recovery...

...from the hairline fracture to his right leg that he reportedly suffered playing with his dog.   Still, LPR will not resist the temptation to note that if it had happened to President Trump, the media would 1) deny the injury occurred playing with a dog and 2) would assert that a) the injury was more serious than a hairline fracture and b) was attributed to a fall caused by degenerative brain disease!

A Battle Cry for These Times …

Unity is not a synonym  for submission.

On missing the Michael Goodwin column in the New York Post, November 29 …

For LPR, a Sunday New York Post without a Michael Goodwin column is like a Thanksgiving dinner without the turkey.

Happy Anniversary LPR

Hard to believe that with this posting, Lonely Pamphleteer celebrates its 17th anniversary.  LPR is grateful
to the Almighty for its 17 years online.  It should be noted that LPR could not have reached this milestone without the dedicated contributions of webmaster Terri Fassio, a truly gifted cyber-artist, expert in the field of popular music, and a very dear friend.  Also of note, LPR reached a circulation of one million on September 25.  May its visitors grow exponentially in 2021 and attract its second million, Gdwilling, by its 18th anniversary.   In Hebrew, the number "chai" also represents the word for "life."  May the life of LPR, committed from the outset to the common good as mentioned in Federalist No. 57,  extend well past its next anniversary --
for another 17 years and
more -- of course, with the same staff!
