Happy Groundhog Day (February 2). If it's Groundhog Day, can St. Patrick's Day and the March primaries be far behind?

... that the shrill tone now often expressed on the front page of New York City's Daily News will end in 2016 -- when the paper shuts its doors.

... that "regime change" is imperialism by the left.

... Cleveland's WTAM for broadcasting the December 19 Democrat debate. Had it not been for this Cleveland radio station, LPR would have miss, entirely, the debate, as it was not to be found on a New York City radio station. The WTAM signal intermittently reached The Bronx, and LPR managed to hear, among other things, Martin O'Malley trying to make the point that he was a lot younger than his rivals, Ms. Clinton and Senator Sanders.

A Calendar Change for 2016?

This winter, both Christmas and New Year's Day fell on Friday. LPR wonders if the powers -who- be will decide, henceforth, that Christmas and New Year's should always occur on Friday: the last Friday in December for Christmas and the first Friday in January for New Year's Day? A giant leap towards transforming Christmas into Winter's Day, LPR suggests.

A Question on President Obama's Comment that His Critics are Motivated, In Part, by Racism ...

If both of President Obama's parents had been white, instead of just his mother, would his present critics be supporting Obamacare, his policy of rule by executive action and his leftist transformation of government.
