Why not the East Rutherford Giants?

Generally, the media and New York Governor Andrew Cuomo refer to the New York Giants as the team name although its home field is in East Rutherford which is in the state of New Jersey. There is one National Football League franchise in the Empire State, located in Buffalo, New York.

LPR wonders why Jerseyites tolerate suggestions that the Giants play their home games in New York State. Isn't it time Gov.. Cuomo boasted that Buffalo hosts the state's only NFL team? It might do wonders for Buffalo's morale.

Ho-hum. Another Trump Resister at The New York Times

Michael Tomasky was given space on The New York Times op-ed page, January 14 to call for the defeat of President Trump's bid for re-election, November 3, 2020. (We haven't even heard all the calls for impeachment yet.)

Tomasky hopes a Trump re-election bid "will do more long-term damage to the Republican Party." Didn't the Never Trump Forces predict candidate Trump would lead the GOP to defeat in 2016?

The New York Times advocates …

....humor as an anti-Trump political weapon. But alas, the Times and the Trump resistance cannot recognize that President Trump employs his own brand pof humor against the denizens of the swamp.

An example of this humor occurred last week, when the president asked an inquiring reporter how he would negotiate with the Democrats. The media still cannot accept that President Trump is very much sui generis.

Fake polls?

The Rasmussen poll, January 14, reported that President Trump's poll numbers are the lowest in a year, with his disapproval rating 55%, to 43% approve, and strongly approve at 32% and 46 % strongly disapproving --- for a negative 14 rating. The poll does not take into account anti-Trump reporting, supported only by conclusory allegations, or, as the president calls them: "fake news."
