A Special -- Abbreviated -- Lonely Pamphleteer Review

[Note to LPR Clicksters: The LPR proprietor has been hacked and cannot send or receive eamil. Accordingly, this edition of LPR had to be sent to Terri Fassio, at Skullco.com -- LPR's terrific webmaster, by ordinary mail. Subsequently, the LPR proprietor realized he could just create a new Yahoo account. Alas, there remains the problem of access to the hacked account.]

More, briefly, from LPR on the Defeat of Eric Cantor

In 2010, Cantor opposed Republican Rich Iott, seeking election to the House of Representatives from Ohio. Iott had parachuted with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) and been given a badge in recognition of his experience with the IDF.. Cantor could not accept Iott because he had portrayed a member of the Nazi SS in a WWII re-enactment. Iott was challenging Rep. Marcy Kaptur who had joined 53 other House Democrats in opposing Israel's blockade of Gaza. And so, Cantor opposed a friend of Israel running against a Democrat ready to criticize the Jewish state for acting in its own defense. For LPR, Cantor's defeat suggests the concern of Divine Providence.
