No Transoms at ABC News …

Last week, LPR sent an email to ABC News calling attention to the Brian Ross photo posted on this website and suggesting that ABC look into the news tip accompanying the Ross photo.

LPR has learned that ABC News cannot accept outside news tips which it must
send to its legal department. The notice did not explain.

Probably has something to do with lawsuits demanding compensation, that kind of thing.

Okay, then -- how are non-ABC News people supposed to send in news tips? Or does ABC News prefer we don't? Anyone from ABC News care to comment?
