Meanwhile, the left’s thought police seems to following the suggestion in Hayek’s “The Road to Serfdom” that the way to be most effective is to convince everyone to believe in the left’s aims. Borking is, certainly, a major tool in propagandizing the people. Merriam-Webster’s defines borking as unfairly attacking a candidate for public office by means of an organized campaign of harsh public criticism or vilification. That is to say, by means of hate-speech, when it directed at a candidate of the left.

The New York Times lead editorial May 19, “Vladimir Putin’s Dangerous Obsession,” suggested that NATO is taking an aggressive attitude towards Russia to keep Putin from attacking Poland, Lithuainia, Latvia and Estonia. The editorial accused Puitin of “duplicity,” of violating the Minsk agreement on Ukraine, and of “engaging in aggressive and dangerous behavior in the air and on the high seas .” The editorial urged renewal of sanctions against Russia and concluded by calling on Putin to diversify the Russian economy and to work “constructively with the West.”

The New York Times, May 29, reported that it had “obtained” the transcript of a conference call between Karen Finney, a senior r aide to Hillary Clinton and “high-profile female supporters” who suggested that the campaign needs to take a different approach LPR wonders, if the Times could get the transcript of a Clinton campaign conference call, why can’t it get the exts of one or more of Ms. Clinton’s talks to Goldman Sachs.

Follow-Up On Lakeisha N. Holloway

Last December, Lakeisha N. Holloway, 24, from Portland, Oregon, allegedly drove her car onto the Las Vegas Boulevard sidewalk at several places, killing one, Jessica Valenzuela, 32, of Buckeye Az, a mother of three, and reportedly injuring some 35 other people. In March, Ms. Holloway, facing charges including murder and attempted murder, was ordered to undergo mental evaluation. LPR was informed, late last month, by the district attorney’s office, that Ms. Holloway “has been committed.”
