What,
No Fair? Not Fair …
LPR
has learned that there might not be a 40th Connecticut Agricultural
Fair in Goshen, the last weekend in July, next year.
More on this next LPR -- meanwhile LPR urges everybody who has participated
in the fair, performed at the fair, gone to the fair to, well, show some Federalist
57 common good spirit and -- Keep
the Connecticut Agricultural Fair Going.

A
Very Grim Reminder …
The
news, last week, that human remains, presumed to be from 9-11, had
been found was, perhaps, in some quarters, an inconvenient reminder
that nearly three thousand lives were taken in the vicinity of what
is now a construction site.
This sign was photographed several years ago.
LPR does not recall seeing it in the media. The plea -- demand, if you will
-- has, of course, been ignored.

Russian
Film Week …
LPR
attended screenings and parties marking the Sixth Russian Film Week
in New York City, and plans to post photos from this festival next
week. Meanwhile, here are photos of some of the Russian actresses--
and of a bottle of Baltika beer.
(Baltika was a festival sponsor and LPR
was given, and drank, one Baltika which it found quite smooth.)

What's
the Secret?
There doesn't
seem to be much secret in the Victoria's Secret display windows
on Broadway, a few blocks up from Lincoln Center -- which include
a sign taking note of the possibility of paparazzi.
