President Obama, in his UN address, last month, noted that former Egyptian president Morsi "was democratically elected,  but proved unwilling or unable to govern in a way that was fully inclusive."  LPR is puzzled that Republicans have not taken note -- but, then, political repartee has not been the GOP's long suit for a number of years.

President Obama Rebuffs a New York Times Columnist ...

New York Times columnist Frank Bruni, October 8 called for an end to political hyperbole, like, for example, accusing others of taking hostages for ransom.  As LPR heard a tape of the president's October 8 press conference, accusing Republicans of taking hostages for ransom was one of the milder examples of the president's political hyperbole -- demonizing the Republicans, that is -- at his October 8 press conference.
