Special Announcement

LPR considers New York's Country Bank a financial institution very much in the tradition of the friendly, consumer-oriented Bailey Building and Loan of Frank Capra's
"It's a Wonderful Life." Fortunately, Country Bank is a real bank. For proof, just call its main office in Manhattan and ask to speak to a top exec. You will be connected.

LPR Announces a Boycott

Lonely Pamphleteer Review announces that it will boycott presidential campaign developments for the remainder of 2015.

Congress, Please Don't Take a September 17 Vote on "The Deal"

September 17 marks the 228th anniversary of approval of the Constitution by the Constitutional Convention. As the approval process for the Iran deal turns the treaty ratification clause in Article 2, Section II on its head, LPR urges Congress not to insult the memory of the Founding Fathers with a September 17 vote on "the deal."

President Obama Muses About Addressing the Knesset

President Obama suggested to "The Forward" that eyebrows would have been raised in Israel had he addressed the Knesset in Israel to lobby against Prime Minister Netanyahu's policies. LPR disagrees. LPR expects Mr. Obama have been cheered by great many members of the Knesset for speaking out against Netanyahu. Still, LPR has a suspicion that President Obama does not recognize Jerusalem as Israel's capital and, therefore, would never set foot in the Knesset.
