New York City voters, elect Curtis Sliwa for mayor, it's important for the country as well as for NYC.

September 10, 2021 --

On the Biden watch-checking controversy when the  fallen 13 were transferred from the plane …

… Maybe he was checking to see if each transfer took precisely the same amount of time.

From Trending Politics, 9/3 …

Rep. Jim Jordan on 2024 - "I want [Donald Trump] to run” Jordan continued. “He’s proven he can take the heat.

“We’re at a moment now where you’ve got to have someone who’s willing to fight, willing to stand up to all the abuses,” he added.

Amen to that and may the rest of the GOP learn to stand up to the left as does the former and future president, please G-d.

Use Cash; Save More …

LPR knows, cash is disfavored for preferred use of credit cards and debit cards.  But on an Old Navy credit card,  LPR is paying 25% interest, which is huge. And debit cards might lead to problems keeping track of spending, leading to overdrafts, and bank charges, PLUS letters threatening to close the account.

LPR plans, and recommends, to sharply limit use of credit card and debit card.  That way, have a pretty good idea,  LPR will have a positive balance at the end of the month (and of course the bank's charges will be a lot less). Remember the moral of  Capra's "It's a Wonderful Life". -- what's good for the bank is probably bad for the average citizen.

Correcting American Greatness…

As LPR was unable to contact American Greatness because its captcha device was inoperative, will someone please tell them that Tony Blaid, as former U.K. prime minister, was head of government, not head of state as stated in the fine article Biden gave us our worst defet in Amerian history, the way he quit Afghanistan.

A Special Announcement from LPR …

The second half of September, being considerably taken up by the Jewish holidays of Succos, Sh'mini Atzeres and Simchat Torah, the next LPR posting, G-dwilling, will be October 5.

Also, LPR, this time of the year, wishes Terri Fassio, LPR's extraordinarily gifted webmaster, without whom LPR would not be online, a healthy, happy, prosperous, wonderful year, according to the Jewish calendar, of 5782, looking forward to stating this wish for Terri again, on the new year of 2022, come the first of January and may these wishes be realized.

A tidbit of bad economic news or -- is the  mobile phone business going to Verizon and T-Mobile?

The ATT store on Johnson Avenue, Bronx, N.Y. closed down. This suggests wasn't doing business in the northwest corner of The Bronx.  Previously, was convenient place for answers to questions how to operate the gadget. Fortunately, it closed after I learned how to turn on the ringtone, and increase volume.  Image of the store appeared on LPR a while back.

Save the post office…

Con Ed (monthly electric bill) return envelope says to pay direct and safe on stamps.  How does that help the post office?  LPR plans to continue to purchase stamps.

What kind of president is Biden?

This Reuters report where Biden suggests to Afghan President Ashraf Ghani (who fled the country August 15) that he lie about the Taliban success in taking over Afghanistan,  tells LPR that our president is a man who believes in telling the untruth, the whole untruth, and nothing but untruth.

A request for a day of silence from the president…

Perhaps Mr. Biden should restrain himself from making any public comment this 9/11, this 20th anniversary of that terrible day. For sure, it would be unseemly of him to brag about how great a leader he is.  Maybe his handlers will keep him in tow on that solemn occasion.

The "conservative" Ross Douthat probably knows where his bread is buttered at The New York Times …

How else explain the title of his September 1, 2021 column: "Biden's Critics Lost Afghanistan"?

More proof of leftist projecting …

Leftists false claimed that President Trump was undermining our special relationship with Britain, as well as our ties to NATO. See the August 29 piece in Western Journal how Biden has caused great damage to our ties with Britain o er his mishandling of the evacuation from Afghanistan.

An Unthinkable thought …

If the homeland suffers an act of ISIS terrorism, will Biden be the first U.S. president driven from office by popular clamor?

A Taliban question to us?

How do we answer a Taliban complaint along these lines:  Why do you Americans criticize us  about the way we adhere to ancient tribal traditions?   Don't your Amish people, and others,  like Hasidic Jews, stick to old ways without you interfering?

The main difference between President Trump and Biden …

President Trump relishes getting into the arena to defend America and protect her honor; Biden shrinks from the fight.
