Out of tow(n)ers

NOVEMBER 27, 2005 --

LPR drove down Central Park West the day after the parade, and continued down Broadway, spotting a car being towed below 57th Street. LPR noticed that the car has Rhode Island plates.

If the driver was in New York for Thanksgiving will the memory of this tow blot out happier memories of Thanksgiving 2005 in NYC.

There has to be a better way to deal with out-of -towners, particularly those visiting NYC on holidays, than towing for parking violations that might not be crystal clear to drivers from other states.

Towed on Thanksgiving.
