September 25 was the day of the last home game for the Yankees, against Toronto.

LPR got to the scene too late to catch the players entering the ballpark, but did get a
photo of Dave Anderson, the Pulitzer prize-winning sports writer for The New York Times and of Shana, near the press gate.

Most fans try to get a glimpse of the players as they stand behind barriers some distance from the press gate.
