JANUARY
16, 2005 --
Writing
in Newsweek, January 10, Anna Quindlen said that the Democrats "once
stood for" -- among other things, "freedom from overbearing
government intrusion."
Heavens, what else does the Democratic
Party stand for, given its joy in thinking of law upon law to regulate our
private lives.
For this writer, Democrats recognize the privacy rights of women seeking abortion,
and practicing non-heterosexuals, and not much else (allowing, of course, for
their own privileges.)
Poor Ms.
Quindlen. She refuses to see that lots of us don't organize massive
protests against the assaults on liberty by Democrats.

In keeping with
the spirit of the Declaration of Independence we just don't vote for
the folks who would send swarms of officers to harass and consume us.
Intrusionists -- why keep calling them "liberals"? -- will be gathering
in Washington, D.C. to oppose the inauguration of President Bush, with, from
all indications, many refusing to recognize Mr. Bush as their president.
C'mon, Ms. Quindlen, you must know that Democrats won't be politically-calmed
until the White House is occupied by an Intrusionist, the more overbearing, the
better.
