Two More Quotes for Patriots to Consider the Next Four Long Years

December 5, 2020 --

The first quote, from a Goggle search is from the famous abolitionist, William Lloyd Garison"

"In 1831, Garrison published the first edition of The Liberator. His words, 'I am in earnest — I will not equivocate — I will not excuse — I will not retreat a single inch — AND I WILL BE HEARD.'"  (LPR adds that, as it happens, this quote was placed alongside LPR's image in his high school year book, for 1958.)

The other quote, from Mark Twain (cited previously at LPR):  "Irreverence is the champion of liberty and its only sure defense."   LPR warns, however, that if the radicals pull Biden's puppet strings, irreverence from freedom lovers  faithful to our legacy of liberty,  the next four years, will be an indictable offense.   If there is one thing totalitarians cannot abide, it is irreverence.
