From
time to time, LPR reads about media personalities who make
some added, and possibly very significant,
income giving talks to groups.
A few weeks ago, LPR noted that Nan Aron suggested that nominations to the
Supreme Court of the United States should include lawyers who are familiar
with ordinary life in America.

LPR
thinks speakers bureaus should adapt this idea, as well, and book
bloggers who perhaps are a bit more
familiar with ordinary life in the U.S. than well-known (and already very well
paid) media personalities.
Also, grass roots bloggers likely would speak for a lot less than media personalities.
