JUNE 25, 2006 --

Last week, LPR attended the photo op at the "Red Carpet Premiere" of "The Great New Wonderful," Danny Leiner's movie
about ordinary New Yorkers a year after 9/11. The cast includes Olympia Dukakis,
Edie Falco, Judy Greer, Dick Latessa, Tom McCarthy and Tony Shalhoub.

The premiere, at the Angelika Film Center, in lower Manhattan, June 20th, was a benefit for Creative Alternatives of New York, an organization that uses drama as therapy for "traumatized and socially underserved" children and adults.

The movie opened at the Angelika June 23, and, the same day, in Boston and Washington, D..C
