Questions Diana Sawyer Did Not Ask of Hillary Clinton

June 15, 2014 --

Diane Sawyer might have followed up Mrs. Clinton's assertion that she was "dead broke" when she and President Clinton left the White House by inquiring:

"Mrs. Clinton, after President Clinton's term ended, did you have to borrow some money from friends to buy food until your food stamp card was replenished the first of the month? Indeed, Mrs. Clinton, did you have to go on food stamps after January 2001?"

LPR could imagine Mrs. Clinton reiterating her famous: "What difference, after all, does it make?"

For LPR -- a lot, an awful lot. Indeed, for LPR, Mrs. Clinton's claim to appreciate how hard life is for Americans is about as unbelievable as President Clinton's remarks, from time to time, to people in stress: "I feel your pain." There are two Americas: the America composed of the people intent on the "ambitious sacrifice of the many, to the aggrandizement of the few" - and the rest of us. Mrs. Clionton and her husband -- like so many leaders of the far and near left, are among the few.
