MARCH 19, 2008 --
LPR noticed a "Hay for Sale" sign a few weeks ago, near the Torrington / New Hartford, Connecticut, line on Route 202, took a photo and put it away.
But now, with talk of gas prices reaching $4.00 a gallon, LPR is wondering if hay will again be a major transportation fuel, to feed the horses that will be pulling our gas-dry cars.
The hay could also, of course, feed the horses needed to remove gas-dry cars that have turned into junk.
Another sign of our times offers to buy home from people facing foreclosure, property that needs to be fixed up -- and poverty in retirement.
You know, the people our national leaders don't meet much, in person, for for more than a half minute.
