Wouldn't It be Something ...

May 15, 2014 --

...if the White House issued the following statement. "The Administration acknowledges that statements by officials linking protests in Cairo, and elsewhere, and violence in Benghazi, September 11-12, 2012, to an anti-Islam video, were inaccurate. The protests and violence had nothing to do with any video.

It was determined that transparent discussion of the causes of the protests and violence, less than two months before the presidential election, would have a detrimental impact on our election process, thereby serving the aims of our enemies. The Administration regrets that discussion and disclosure, at this time, of the causes of those September 11-12 protests and violence in Cairo, Benghazi and elsewhere, would continue to have an adverse impact on our national security."

...if the congressional leadership called for a constitutional amendment adding to qualifications for president the following: "Further, eligibility for president requires that the individual be a descendant or spouse of one of the following individuals: Bush, George H. W; Clinton, William Jefferson; or Obama, Barack H.

...if HIllary Rodham had worked with President Nixon's defense team, instead of for the Watergate independent counsel, and had successfully convinced Mr. Nixon to go an televison and declare: "What difference, after all, does Watergate make?"

...if Vladimir Putin disclosed that according to recently-discovered Kremlin files, Stalin killed millions of people before World War II because Trofim D. Lysenko convinced Stalin that carbon dioxide is destroying the Soviet environment and, unfortunately, as humans exhale carbon dioxide, not oxygen, historical necessity requires a thinning out of the Soviet population.
