Speaking Spamee to Spamer

June 10, 2009 --

Much appreciate the opportunities you provide. Indeed,
in multiples, you guys make some sense (cents probably, too).

How else regard one spam suggesting a vacation rental, and another
one -- same day -- asking: "Need Funds for Unexpected Expenses?"

Also, you folks must know a lot about me -- which would explain the
offers of lower auto insurance rates, help getting published, match-making and so on.

Not sure, though, how I could "Become a Chef!!" and also "Become a Nurse!!!"
(By the explanation points on these offers, a nurse outranks a chef.)

And so many opportunities to work at home, to take online courses, to
get "Swimming Pool Quotes." (Wow, talk about unexpected expenses.)

I particularly like the offer to be matched "with a Real person." I suppose
I would have to come up with "Real" money -- if there is still such a thing.

My favorites, of course, are the notices how to pick up the million dollars won in a lottery, or that will be sent on helping a needy person transfer a hundred million bucks or so.

Being very caveat-minded, I have a bad feeling about these windfalls. Would even call them "Madoffers" -- but that is too close to Madoff, the mad offerer.
