Reflections on the Chiefs win over Buffalo, January 24, and the Super Bowl between Tampa Bay and Kansas City, February 7

February 5, 2021 --

It's clear to LPR that the Buffalo Bills did not have a chance from before the AFC championship.  LPR is convinced that the NFL's Heavenly Committee of Notables, co-chaired by Commissioner Bert Bell and Coach Vince Lombardi, ruled out a Bills win once the Bills failed to come out for the playing of the National Anthem (and the fly-over of military jets).   Nothing an convince this Bills fan, otherwise.

LPR urges Bills Coach McDermott to instill respect for the flag, which means respect of America, including NFL fans, for the 2021 season.

LPR's crystal ball has Chiefs' QB Parick Mahomes getting payback for his loss to Tampa Bay QB Tom Brady when he led the New England Patriots to defeating Mahomes and the Chiefs for the AFC championship two years ago.   This time, notwithstanding the fact that Tampa Bay will be the first Super Bowl team to play on its home field -- and Brady's great accomplishment taking the Buccaneers to Super Bowl LV --  the 18 - year age disparity between Mahomes (25) and Brady (43), plus the Chiefs' more balanced offensive, will be too much for the Buccaneers to overcome. Kansas City by 17 points or more.
