LPR congratulates Coach Auriemma and the UCONN Women's Basketball team on winning their eighth NCAA Championship.

LPR thinks it would be very interesting if Coach Auriemma were succeeded by one of his former UCONN players as UCONN women's coach -- while he switched over to coach the UCONN Men's Basketball squad.

With Louisville winning the NCAA Men's Basketball (Division I) tournament, Louisville coach Rick Pitino made history as coach of NCAA champs at two colleges (his previous win as at Kentucky in 1996). We have yet to have a coach to win NCAA championships in both the men's and women's tournaments.
