MAY
31, 2007 --
LPR
heard Chris Matthews, May 27, refer to the rest of the year as "the
last six months of the campaign."
To borrow an Imus expression: is he nuts? Or has the 2008
presidential election been moved up a year?
The media guys remind me of high school students who, unprepared for
history class, want the teacher, instead, to lead a class discussion
on current events.
LPR has a hunch media news people would rather prefer to speak off the tops of
their talking heads than do some digging to see what the current office-holders
are up to, governance-wise.

Might it not be helpful
to the public to be informed which oil refineries are not in operation
and why?
Might it not be helpful to the public to be informed if credit card companies
receive windfall profits on their 29% interest rates that are imposed AFTER cardholders
receive their cards.
For LPR, the media has little interest in keeping the public informed on current
aggrandizing trends in the economy, trends that do not seem to serve the common
good.
If Unity-08 wants to get the system back on track, it might start by examining
the political blueprint better known as The Federalist Papers. |
