Images of the 39th Connecticut Agricultural Fair

AUGUST 15, 2006 --

The Connecticut Agricultural Fair is held the last full weekend of July in Goshen, located in Litchfield County in the northwest corner of the state).

The images of this wonderful expression of America were taken on July 29, and include photos of the Richie Havens concert, of animals happy to pose for LPR, of games and rides.

President of the fair is Todd Gelineau and
Entertainment Coordinator is Terri Fassio, assisted by a great many people who
exemplify the American spirit, the spirit of
Federalist 57 -- dedication to the common good in a country committed to freedom.

The official statement of Connecticut Governor M. Jodi Rell tells what this fair is all about and why it is important.

And bear in mind: the 40th Connecticut Agricultural Fair is only 49 weeks away.
