NOVEMBER 2, 2007 --
LPR traveled to Fenway Park, home of the Boston Red Sox, in search of photo opportunities, October 25. Probably the best photo op was the hunter's moon that appeared above the Prudential building, at nightfall.

How difficult was it, this year, to get photos of arriving Red Sox? The images obtained suggest a surveillance stake-out, rather than MLB photo op. In 2004, cameras were permitted near the player's parking lot. This time, cameras were kept to the opposite sidewalk on Van Ness Street. Fans joyfully called out to arriving players -- who, for the most part, ignored the cheers from "Red Sox Nation."
LPR walked around the ballpark, photographing images on the Fenway perimeter and left, earlier than planned, when the way was blocked by a gate across Yawkey Way that, a few hours before game time, became a ballpark entrance. Appeals to ballpark personnel for safe passage down Yawkey Way were unavailing.
Three days later the Red Sox won the World Series, defeating the Colorado Rockies in four straight games. LPR predicts: the Red Sox will not repeat in 2008.
