OCTOBER 10, 2007 --
LPR heard Warner Wolf, speaking on WABC, October 28,
dismiss Curtis Sliwa's prediction that the Buffalo
Bills would beat the New York Jets 17-14, September 30
-- and go so far as top indicate that he would give up
his sports reporting job at this New York City radio
station if the Bills won.
It turned out that not only did the Bills beat the
Jets, on their Orchard Park, N.Y. home field, the
score of the game was 17-14, just as Sliwa predicted.

LPR says to Mr. Wolf, "If you dismissed the Bills'
chances against the Jets, and suggested that you would
give up your job if Curtis was right … you have to
GIVE UP YOUR JOB."
(LPR did hear Mr. Wolf,
acknowledge, the day after the game that Sliwa's
prediction turned out to be true but heard no
reference from the sportscaster to his vow to
relinquish his job if the Bills won.) |
