Needed: A Wall of Windmills Along Our Border with Canada?

June 19, 2023 --

The day he took office, President Biden issued an executive order intended to protect the public from the "climate crisis." The order included a section on air pollution, but did not discuss air quality problems caused by wildfires in Canada, Now, however, with air quality June 6 and 7 in New York City being very, very poor, the White House attributes the bad air to the "climate crisis" -- and not, specifically, to lightning, or human negligence as suggested by CBS News:

According to CBS News. this is how the Canada wildfires started:

"Dry, hot weather also breeds more lightning. In a normal season, half of Canada's wildfires are started by lightning, but those fires account for more than 85% of wildfire destruction. The other half are human-caused.

"In Quebec, for example, fires were sparked by lightning, but officials in Alberta have said that the cause of fires there is currently unknown. Elsewhere in the country, these fires have been human-caused in various ways from discarded cigarette butts to sparks from passing trains.."

The White House, it seems, has extended Rahm Emmanuel's instruction about not wasting crises, to the vary bad air quality in New York City attributed to the Canada wildfires

The first full week of June, New Yorkers were advised to stay indoors as much as possible, with their windows closed. (The sun finally emerged through smoke and haze on June 8.)

How soon until the President urges Congress to authorize a trillion dollars out of our bottomless debt pit to construct windmills along our Canadian border to send the smoke right back where it came from? This Biden battle cry is expected: "One trillion dollars for windmills along our border with Canada but not one blue cent for a wall along our border Mexico."
