Bill de Blasio, now hear this
(or why you just might surprise everyone and the Public Advocate election)

October 20, 2009 --

My FOIA search on your involvement with the Dayton Seaside matter will cost me $851.60 -- and it is not clear that the information I am looking for will be in the 12 boxes that will take about one hour each to go through at a cost of $85.16 x 10 (two free hours credited to me). I have ten days from receipt of the answer to my FOIA request to reply. (It was received October 17.)

How about this? How about you just telling everyone: what you knew about Dayton Seaside, when you knew about it -- and why you kept all the facts about HUD's involvement to yourself?
